Stroud families can make leaf art at this £1.50 Museum in the Park workshop

Stroud families will be able to turn leaves into colourful artwork during a drop-in craft workshop at the Museum in the Park this summer.

What is planned

So Many Leaves will take place on Thursday, 20 August 2026, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Museum in the Park, Stratford Park, Stratford Road, Stroud.

Children aged five and over can use leaf rubbings and stencils to create patterns and designs inspired by the different shapes of leaves found among the trees in Stratford Park. The session will be led by community artist Alison Cockcroft.

Cost and booking

Admission is £1.50 per child to help cover materials, while accompanying adults can attend for free. Families do not need to book in advance: the event is drop-in, with payment available at the door.

The workshop is listed as part of the museum’s summer holiday programme.
