A Stroud MP has highlighted the importance of community as residents took part in Stroud’s Yard Trail over the August Bank Holiday Monday.

The event gave people the opportunity to come together in front gardens and dedicated “multiyards”, according to the MP.

Neighbourhood gatherings across the area

Examples mentioned include the Trinity Rooms and Charlea Gardens in Brimscombe, where people gathered as part of the Yard Trail.

The MP said they placed “a lot of emphasis on the importance of ‘community’”, describing the occasion as one in which Stroud had “again given itself over to the Yard Trail”.
