Police are searching for Rebecca, a 53-year-old woman who has been reported missing from Cam. Officers have said they are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who may have seen her, or who knows where she may be, to come forward.
The appeal was reported by Stroud Times on Thursday, October 8, 2026, after Rebecca was reported missing the previous afternoon. According to the information released in the appeal, she left an address in Cam shortly after 12.50pm on Wednesday, October 7.
She was understood to have been last seen later that day, on foot, leaving The Railway Inn on Station Road at about 4pm. This is the last reported sighting included in the appeal.
Description of the missing woman
Rebecca is described as 5ft 1in tall and of medium build. She has blonde hair worn in a bob. The description has been issued to help members of the public identify her if they believe they have seen her.
At the time of the reported sighting, she was thought to be wearing a black Osprey dry robe coat. She may also have had a beige hooded top underneath the coat. The appeal says she has a blue and grey rucksack.
Police said Rebecca has links to several locations: Yate, Chipping Sodbury, Gloucester and Stinchcombe Woods. People in those areas, as well as anyone who has travelled through or visited them, are being asked to consider whether they may have information that could assist the search.
How to contact police
Anyone who has seen Rebecca or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police by calling 101. Callers should quote occurrence number 53260086849 when passing on information.
