Home of Vintage at Five Valleys is inviting shoppers to look beyond conventional presents this Christmas, with independent traders promoting vintage clothing, second-hand books, theatrical goods, handmade cards and other pre-loved finds.

The advertising feature was updated on November 4, 2026, as traders prepared for the colder months and the festive shopping period. The promotion highlights fresh autumn and winter collections, carefully selected vintage pieces and gift ideas intended for people seeking something different. It also encourages shoppers to support independent businesses while searching for presents or simply browsing the changing stock.

Vintage clothing and winter layers

Two retailers, Vintage by Zarchin and Well-Hung Menswear, share one unit at Home of Vintage. Together, they offer vintage clothing for both men and women, with new and restocked items aimed at winter wardrobes.

Vintage by Zarchin has restocked 100% wool knitwear, including classic Aran styles and cashmere pieces. Its collection also includes its signature range of vintage Burberry coats, giving shoppers the opportunity to look for established styles alongside unusual second-hand garments.

Well-Hung Menswear has introduced vintage Americana and premium brands, including field jackets, chore coats, fleeces, knitwear, parkas and windbreakers. The retailer says the individual pieces have been handpicked, with practical outerwear and warmer clothing forming part of the latest seasonal selection.

Books and theatrical gifts

Dragonfly Bookshop is offering its “Blind Date With A Book” selection, which adds an element of surprise to Christmas shopping. The second-hand modern fiction titles are individually wrapped, so the book cover is hidden. Instead, clues and hints about the stories inside are provided to help customers choose a mystery read.

Theatricallia is also fully stocked for Christmas and specialises in storytelling, creative play and theatrical living. Its selection includes vintage and pre-loved puppet theatres, hand puppets and finger puppets, alongside quirky gifts, handmade cards and seasonal dressing-up pieces.

The range at Theatricallia is described as ever-changing, meaning visitors may find different items from one visit to the next. The combination of vintage fashion, unusual presents, books and imaginative toys gives shoppers several options within the Home of Vintage offering.

Remembrance Sunday plans

Home of Vintage also plans to mark Remembrance Sunday on November 8 by paying tribute to those who have served.

The seasonal promotion presents Five Valleys as a place to find distinctive gifts and winter clothing while supporting independent traders. Shoppers looking for a special present, a new addition to a cold-weather wardrobe or an unusual item for a child are being encouraged to browse the participating businesses during the run-up to Christmas.
